Karsten Gjefle

 I’m Karsten Gjefle, Executive Director – Africa for the Association for Humanitarian Development (AHD) responsible for Scale Up of the Nadi Filter across Africa. My experience prior to AHD spans sanitation innovation, agricultural value chain development, renewable energy initiatives, and sustainable business strategies. I have spearheaded transformative projects, such as combating aflatoxins in food chains in Mozambique, enhancing food safety, and fostering health and economic security. Fluent in English, Norwegian, and French I leverage linguistic and cultural acumen to build partnerships, navigate complex political contexts, and drive solutions in diverse environments.
