AHD has promoted safe water for drinking through Nadi Filter technology which is easy to install, replicable, verified and internationally rewarded product of the organization. AHD has explored this safe water solution for rural and underprivileged communities through its applied research in communities. The organization has started working on safe water for communities in the year 2007, throughout this journey organization has been promoting this solution in Pakistan and African countries.
The organization has provided 355000 Nadi Filter units for the people who do not have access to the safe drinking water. These Nadi Filters are provided under 22 projects funded by Global Giving, ACTED, Susan Design Norway, FCTZ, BMZ Germany, Care International, GSK, CDP, German Consulate in Pakistan, WHO, and Misereor Germany, and others. These projects are completed in four provinces of Pakistan including Badin, Matyari, Mirpurkhas, Sujawal, Dadu, Sanghar, Thatta, Tando Mohammad Khan, Naseerabad, Sohatpur, Jaffarbad, Mansehra, and Sawabi.
