INTRODUCTION OF RESEARCH ON BIO SAND NADI FILTER

AHD established water testing Lab for the determination of the biological contamination of drinking water at office level through the support of Oxfam GB in 2008-2009 and 100 Nadi filter units tested and re-tested at AHD water testing lab. The results prepared and shared with all. The results of the biological analysis were 92 % before awareness promotion of Nadi filter proper care and cleanliness and 98 % after the awareness meetings and workshops.

The Oxfam GB further supports the chemical analysis equipment by which chemical analysis of Nadi filter can be determine.
