First of all I would like to wish you all a happy New Year 2012, hope this year bring a lot of hope and happiness amongst flood effected families who have suffered a lot during last year 2011 and had the most difficult phase of their lives. Start of year 2011 was full of worried as increase in oil prices resulted as an increase in food prices as well and it became more difficult for poor communities to even buy wheat and other basic food items.

We at AHD looking to support around 15,000 families to bring them back to food security at their house hold level improving their standards of life.

We are also looking for support from local, national & international community to help and support these poor rural families ,got effected by floods 2010-2011 in which they lost their houses, crops and livestock on a large scale.

We at AHD looking to support more poor communities with safe drinking water and AHD VDM model activities at their door step that poor communities can have access to safe and clean drinking water and basic human needs access at their villages level. Village development model activities can bring quick change in the poor rural communities of Pakistan. In this read we appeal to all humanitarian actors to support and promote our project activities in flood victims of 2010 & 2011 that the quick support can be provided within short time period.

Let us spread the light of joy and progress as it’s every citizen’s right.
