Women empowerment program started in 20 villages and initially 20 women CBOs formed and trained to conduct meetings at their door step and to learn health and Hygiene and smoke free cooking technologies as well as to support in increase family income through household level kitchen gardening and livestock raring. The 20 village women CBO members are actively contributing in the village level development activities which are the key to women empowerment in rural areas.

Details of 20 Female CBOs formation in Sujawal and Jati area 2008:

 The women groups actively participating in the project activities and attending village based trainings and women meetings in their respective villages. all the villages trained to install Nadi filter units and fuel efficient stoves to get immediate benifits.

  The results of the biological analysis were 92 % before awareness promotion of Nadi filter proper care and cleanliness and 98 % after the awareness meetings and workshops.
